Tips for This Route
Dali station is about 30 minutes from the ancient town by bus or taxi. Don't confuse Dali city (Xiaguan) with Dali Ancient Town — they're 15 km apart. The ancient town is where you want to stay. Erhai Lake bike rides are best in the morning before wind picks up.
